"But I own that I cannot see as plainly as others do, and I should wish to do, evidence of design and beneficence on all sides of us. There seems to me too much misery in the world. I cannot persuade myself that a beneficent and omnipotent God would have designedly created that a cat should play with mice."

Mrs. Palin a Problem for Democrats
Criticizing her is like poking a kitten with a stick. You can't believe how much snark I've flushed in the last 15 minutes.
But wait till my wife gets home at which point you can fasten your seatbelts.
Only a problem if you believe, as has been supposed, that Hillary's PUMA supporters are voting for McCain (and now Palin) to take away the right to an abortion to punish their daughters for falling in love with a charismatic Black man.
Well, it's always a question of how many squishy-brained folk there are who, incensed at the rhetorical mistreatment of Hillary, would then vote for a woman whose attitudes toward women are pretty Neanderthal, who, in fact, is many ways is a man with ovaries. So you figure if there are many of these folk and how careful you have to be in pointing out Mrs. Palin's deficiencies.
She literally is (wait for it) A Dear in the Headlights.
Live by identity politics, die by identity politics. And as I recall Qualye didn't hurt the ticket. Dems are in trouble, Robertson's right -- if she doesn't screw up.

ReplyDeletePalin is worse than Quayle

There is already more than a hint of sour grapes over the November outcome here. It's far too early for a show of submission.
ReplyDeletePride goeth before a fall ... election.
