I remembered an NPR spot on the Wilhelm scream - not too long ago it seemed.

Google shows: "about 1,810 for npr 'Wilhelm scream'. (0.26 seconds)"

Why does it annoy me so when when the period is plopped outside the quote? Just getting in touch with my inner Monk.
